How Insurance Works

The most important thing to remember is the choice is yours.

While our areas of service are generally understood, what isn't so clear is when you can access our services.

• Insurance companies such as Aetna, The Alliance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna and others allow you to see a physical therapist without a physician's referral.
• If you are in pain, you can seek help immediately.

Even if you have a physician's referral, you can choose the physical therapist. You can pick the physical therapy that is closest to home and requires the least amount of travel. Preferably someone right in or close to your hometown - someone like the physical therapists of Back in Motion.

If you already have a referral for physical therapy - even one that's not specifically to Back in Motion - you can bring it to us. We have access to the majority of health insurers.

And if you have an insurer that we don't accept, or if you don't have insurance, we also offer reasonable cash rates.

Be sure to check with your individual insurance company on specifically what coverage is included in your policy.
